The Maine Institute for Human Genetics and Health congratulates Randy Harris for becoming the newest AAAS Fellows at Ohio State University College of Public Health (OSU). Randy, a member of the Institute’s Scientific Advisory Board was among the 17 OSU faculty members named this year as Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), a prestigious international scientific society. Randy was honored for “distinguished contributions to the fields of cancer epidemiology and chemoprevention, particularly for studies of cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor anti-inflammatory drugs in the prevention of human cancer.”
